ISS and SS refresher training session

This training session is especially aimed for those that are planning to join the Intro to Sea Skills or Sea Skills assessment on the weekend of 9 and 10 May,  but others planning to go for Intro to Sea Skills or Sea Skills in future are also welcome to join.  We will expect you to have Sea Kayak Basics.

The session will be focused on brushing up on some of the skills required for the assessment. We will be running through some of the paddle strokes and rescues. If there are waves wrapping around the heads we might have a quick refresh of surfing skills.

Dress for immersion as you will get wet and have a lunch with you in the boat to eat on the beach. You can park at Flinders pier as parking is now free again. We aim to wrap up around 3pm. If you have any questions on the session, please don't hesitate to call Keith on 04 27 452 342.
